Agreed. I live out in the country and people often drop animals (dogs and cats) off at the cross roads when they get tired of them. Usually the animals come to my house and try to take up residence. I don't want a bunch of stray animals running around my place. Most of the time I will put up with them for several days in hopes of someone taking them home. If they don't find a new home pretty quick I usually find a place to bury them. No need in letting them run wild.

We had a big problem with that several years ago. I was attacked by a pack of 6 or 7. My old shepherd never hesitated, she met them head on defending me. I killed the dog in the lead, had a sgl shot 12 ga. Got another but the rest got away. My old dog lived, she almost gave her life for me. Only thing to do is hunt em down and kill them. We did.
