new stevens 200

I got a new Stevens 200 in 22-250 put a Pentax Gameseeker 4-12x40 scope on it .When i got it all the shop had was white box Winchester 45gr. hp. and man will she shoot .I wanted different ammo but now i think these will do fine . I sure hope the savage 110 in 30-06 that followed me home also shoots half as good have to buy mounts first to see.     BART

ditto on the stevens 223,,,,followed barrel break in procedure,,last weekend,,,played with about 3 different factory ammo's last weekend....today tried two others,,,and wow,,,sub moa,,,can't beat the out of the box accurracy for $340.00 canadian

me and the boys shot mine today and my 10 year old can shoot 1 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards with it i really like it. having ahard time finding the 45gr. hp for it though

The 30-06 should be just fine. I don't shoot factory ammo and had no problems with hand loads of several types.
