Favorite phrase for "handicapped in some way"
« on: August 07, 2009, 08:44:29 AM »
My favorite phrase if I've hurt myself and can't move as I usually do is
"I've got a hitch in my get-along"

For example:
Breaking a leg will sure put a hitch in your get-along.

Mechanic, my wife would love that one. I'm one of those AU fans and she's a UGA.

I guess my saying comes from getting a "crick" in your neck except it's all over. After a hard day I'm feeling kinda crickish. AKA " stove up"
