Alert – Illinois State Representative Patti Bellock's online survey includes CCW
Illinois State Rep. Patricia Bellock is running an online survey on her pages at the Illinois House Republican Caucus website. CCW for Illinois is presented as one of the questions in the survey. Representative Bellock has the 47th district, which covers parts of Bolingbrook, Darien, Hinsdale, Downers Grove and other communities.
The online survey does not require that you live in the district to submit a response, but it does require your name and email address. The question on CCW mentions 40 hours of training, and that does not compare well with the 48 states that have CCW, but you shouldn't let that damp your enthusiasm. While it is certain that CCW in Illinois will have a training requirement, a 40 hours minimum is most unlikely.
