  Hello all. I have 5 700's-an 8mag,2 06's,.243(soon to be a 7/08) and a 6mm.Maybe the ones I have won't put 5 bullets in one hole but they shoot good enough for me. You just can't go wrong with a 700.  Kix

Shot these four shot groups with two different loads awhile back with mt 700 Varmnint Special in .308

I bought a new 700ADL in .30-06 last August at Walmart.  It will shoot 3/4" or less at 100 yards with Remington 165 Grain Core-Lokts.  I currently own 4 Model 700s.  I've owned a bunch of them, and I've never had a bad one.

My one Rem 700 is a VLS in 7mm08. Brand new with Hornady Light mag ammo, it'd shoot right around 1moa avg. at 100yds. Shot two boxes thru it. Then started handloading for it. Varmint loads; I use 100gr Sierra HP's and get .625" groups avg.. 140gr Sierra GK's give me about .75" groups avg., gonna work on the 140's more as I know there's more left on the table. Both loads using IMR 4895.  (5 shot groups)
