topper forend screw

i got a new to me 20 ga topper jr barrel and am wondering what the thread size is on the forarm screw a normal 1/4 x 20 screw is too coarse

It's probably ¼-28 as listed in the FAQs.  ;)

thanks tim i knew it had to be there but my computer upgraded and the search is not the same any more and couldnt locate it thanks again

Mike, that barrel is an older one that had the flat head or straight blade type head for the forend screw. I should have mentioned that in the sale, but it slipped my mind. It should be 1/4-28tpi (fine thread) as Tim said.
