Dies are a standard 7/8-14 now, no problems with interchanging modern dies and presses.  ;)

Thanks Tim,  I just got back from town.  There's a small sporting goods store there, no FFL.  He does stock some ammo though, and I was able to pick up a box of 50 UMC 180 gr. JSPs for 30.00.  My LEs were back ordered til the 25th, so I needed something to play with.  I can't find the 240 gr Win. anywhere in stock.  Cheaper than Dirts web page looks like they had a going out of business sale.

Pete ,

Be sure to let us know how your new 44 likes those LEvo rounds brother... I havent been able to find them local to me , I do however have about 4 boxes of WWB 240s sitting at my local wally world at $32+change ...

I know alot of you boys have had good success on deer with the hollow points and XTPs are an awesome son-ofa-gun , I guess I have a seed of doubt placed in me from experience with the speer gold-dots on big tuff hogs and will continue my jsp or cast flat nose route due to that experience , the woods I stomp around in can be called home to deer, black bear , hogs and elk ( there are also sightings of black panthers here with creditble eye witnesses ) ... So with that always in mind I have to go with my choice , Cause you never know what is around that next bend , whats just over that next hill or what wants to come home with you that day ;) and god knows those casted will break an animal down and keep on trucking , for me in a 44 that is a great thing  ;D
