Hey Doug!  Thanks for answering and the URL!     I'da got back with you sooner, but... 
Anyway, my one question is, is the Oxbow "Lodge" set up for and nice enough for the wife-mate who wants to come along and would there be anything for her to while I'm hunting?

Hey Buddy....the Oxbow is gorgeous!!!  I was there with a fellow from Tenn. who took his wife and she didn't hunt at all.  The Oxbow is located in N. Maine, near the CN border.  There's not alot to do unless your wife is adventuous and not afraid to travel to the sites by herself while you are sitting on stand.  You'll go out to the stands about 2pm and come back by 8 or 9pm when its dark, so, there's alot of free time in the AM for both of you.

I'd give them a call....nicer folks you won't meet!

AtlLaw, I go to Wade Maine in Northern Maine as well. I hunt with Pete Koch from Wild Country Outfitters. His place is about 10 miles from Presque Isle Maine with is a nice little city. I stay at a long cabin next to a river at a place called sled quarters.  A great place to take a wife to. I am taking my wife with me this year and her sister is coming along to keep her company while I hunt. My buddy hunting with me, is bringing his wife as well. They are staying in another cabin. There is TV, a phone for local calling, nice walking trails and a 4 wheeler trail right out the front door.
