US Senator Ensign Admits to Cheating With Staffer

Yep, another one was caught and fessed up.  He did have enough class to give up his seniority.  Not sure what this will do to Ensign's re-election hopes.

Several sources say the woman involved is Cindy Hampton of Las Vegas. She and her husband, Douglas, were part of Ensign's staff. With serious allegations looming and a wife involved with a U.S. Senator, Mr. Hampton had little to say Wednesday to a waiting camera. "I have no comment at this time," he said.

He needs to switch parties. Airport bathroom stalls and congressional pages are Republican territory. Having sex with a woman is definately Democratic!  :) ;) :D ;D ::) :P :-*

It appears that the "family values" that those Republican political hacks in DC claim to represent is a
variable thing.  "Family values" meant different things to Freedom Fries Ney, Dirty Duke Cunningham, Larry Craig, Renzi and now Ensign.   

US congressmen of the Democrat party are no better than their Republican counterparts.  The difference is that the Democrats in congress make no claim to represent any "values" at all.

who cares, did he do his job well? does he serve the people well? does he support the constitution? his personal mistakes should be secondary.

i know, i know...bill clinton...but not the same situation.

this guy is being manipulated to lose his job...its obvious.

democrate/republican they're all a bunch of useless slobs. As one senator once said they should serve 2, 4 year terms-4 years in congress and 4 years in jail.

Why is this news?  There was a Democrat president in recent memory who, when cornered and after much fanfare, admitted to the same thing after he previously said " I did not have sex with that woman".  And what about the Democrat Barney Frank?  Didn't he get caught with a pageboy?  It seems that the politicians these days (both parties) have found the bottom of the gutter--along with their most strident followers.
