All Dogs need a yard...
« on: June 07, 2009, 01:36:52 AM »
...where they can relax, play, and poop.

I just watched the neighbors returning from their twice per day "Dog Walk". They have three LARGE Golden Retrievers.  Not unlike a purse, she was carring a plastic bag full of dog poop.

Now I appreciate their community spirit and courtesy, but Com'on Man!  Filling up and carrying around a bag of poop for 1/2 an hour is just aching to light the bag on fire on someone's front stoop, ringing their doorbell, and running...know what I mean?

For the Record:  I never did that.

Not just city folks...

I live on post.  We live in apartments.  Wasn't getting rid of my dogs just because we live in an "inconvenient" setting for them.  We walk them three times a day.  The little plastic bags are attached to the leashes.  Sucks but it's better than leaving landmines for playing kids.  Even when I live in single family houses we still have to pick up the yard but it's usually done with a shovel then...
