Good  morning Montanan, MT_Sourdough, dpe, Southpaw, Forster, Atlaw, pab1, newstart2k, Skunk, kitchawan kid, lurker, CJ, Bilmac, thxmrgarand, Syncerus, Mcwoodduck, Brennemanj83, Old Shooter,TY22, Canon6, burntmuch, Grimjim, CJ, Bilmac, rparsons934 wis_sharpshooter, BBF and Blue Duck

Up early this morning, couldn't sleep because of the heat.  I was 72 degrees yesterday.  Currently is 51 degrees as the sun is coming up.

Yesterday I spent the morning cutting grass and primer painting the cannon and carriage.

I am aiming for smoke and fire in the next three weeks...My Granddaughter is coming in a week and will be here for two weeks. I want her to be the first to fire after the rebuild.

Yesterday afternoon I cast 100 .468-480 gr. Martini bullets and 10 1 inch round ball for the cannon.

I have to get me a job, so I can go to work on Monday and rest up from the week end. :)

Good Morning ... It's raining  :D  We need it .
finished moving mother to nursing home yesterday , she is 97 and needs a rest .
Late Friday afternoon after packing and moving stuff for mother I snuck out with my 17 HMR . Picked up friend John and we totaled 88 gophers in 3 hours .
No hunting today ... we will take the rain.

Good looking project Doug D , I did get some more pieces cut for my Mortar base . It's slowly coming together . For sure smoke and fire prior to the 4Th of July bash here @ the farm.

Wishing all a good Memorial day  , If you enjoy your freedom , thank a vet .

Good Morning Montana.

Been pretty nice outdoors for the last couple days here in NE Wisconsin.

Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Edit: Changed "Montanan" to "Montana." Didn't want to exclude my greetings from everyone else in Montana.  ;)

Afternoon all.  Weather in Billings was perfect till about an hour ago and the wind and rain started.  Need the rain, don't need the wind.  Thought I had my honey-do list caught up yesterday, WRONG!  Momma told me about cleaning out the garage and getting ready for a garage sale.  Had lots of help, so not as bad as it could have been.  Did give me some time to think about my Dad during the last part of WWII, Some of the people I've missed since Nam and others.  Give a prayer for those gone, and a thanks to all that served.    DP, U.S. Army, 6 years active, Mar.72-Mar.78
