Uberti 1885 45/70 should I bother

I sold my NEF Buffalo Classic in 45/70 and I am looking at a 45/70 Uberti 1885 High Wall, it is almost new with a set of Pedersoli Vernier sights on it, I have heard quality of these is hit or miss, is that true or was that for the older ones, I would like to get at least 1 moa at 100 yards with 405 gr with 3031 or 4198.

Are you talking 1 moa using cast boolits?...If you are go to the castboolit website single shot forum and do a search on Uberti...
Myself I would wait for the Pedersoli 1885 to come out or check out...

I never fired it, the bore was larger at the muzzle than at the chamber.

Well I shot the Uberti 1885 hi wall 45/70 yesterday using rem 300 gr HP bullets with 60grs of IMR3031 and it shot 1" at 100 yds, it may shoot better, it was raining at the time.

Shoulda sent the BC back for a new barrel, they woulda replaced it.
