The new .357 Sisters
« on: May 18, 2009, 05:28:02 AM »
Tim and all you guys, thanks for helping me do this.  These are my two new girls.  The  top is the Max, the bottom the Mag. It is still too windy to dial them in, but as soon as it slows down I'll post range reports.  Thank You Again :D ;D ;)

Nice little combo there Pete. The Max is definitely intriguing, but I'd be pleased with either.

I only put 5 rounds thru the Max to get it close to sighted in, and then put a Mag thru it and it grouped right with the others.  So Doug, bite the bullet and DO IT.  I figured I'd shoot .357 Max and Mag in the Max, and .357 Mag and .38s in the Mag.

I was grilling Pork Chops last evening, and had a coyote crossing on my property line.  425 yards off the grill........Missed him with the .22-250 :'  (I had to rush the shot, and I was looking into the setting sun).....excuses....excuses....excuses.  I need to work on that rifle and the shooter for that distance. ;D

Tim, your scope is on the Max topmost in the picture.  Thanks Skunk, and all of you.

Sweet Little Sisters Pete. I would have a picture of my new medication but got a DELAY again today. Must of comitted some heinous crime I forgot about since I walked out with my new 44 mag a couple weeks ago. Gotta love the government.

Last summer my wife was grilling burgers and a coyote walked by about 60 feet from the grill looking at us. All I had in hand was some flowers I was transplanting. :(

Have fun with those girls while you're still young ;).

Hey Big....the word is "young enough".  Thanks.  The BATF confuses me.  Sometimes it flys right through and others is like the second coming of Christ.  I bought a Handi .30-06 last year and had to drive 1.5 hours to get to the Candy Store, and the nice guy there told them that and it got cleared instantly.  Coyotes are the main reason there's always a loaded rifle and shotgun standing by each of the side and back doors.  The rifles are for distance and the shotguns with #4 for close in.  I've got free rangeing chickens and they're a coyote magnet.......but the eggs are superb ;)  They're in at night, and during the day I don't mind a shot at a coyote.  They lay brown and green eggs, so every day is Easter.

Those sure are some attractive sisters Pete!

Thanks to you!!!!

Looking good Pete.

Thanks buddy.  I like the black stocks........I can feed the plague without tipping the wife off :-X  The only problem is I can't tell them apart, so I rack them by caliber.

Pete
