NRA Convention

Went to the NRA gathering yesterday, They had a nice selection of H&R rifles there. Some things I did notice. All rifles had pacmyer decelerators on them. All had sweet triggers,all had the wood finished nicely and lastly the 45 colt carbine had pallet wood instead of walnut. I realise they are exhibition pieces,but would be nice if they all came that way

I just flew out to Seattle this morning, when I declaired firearms in my luggage the person inspecting them joked that they were about the 200th gun that he had seen through the airport today.  I didn't get a chance to go to the convention but it sure make a lot of press down there.  Larry
