I love the internet!!!!

Another amazing testament to the value of Google:

I'm sure that all of us have had our share of "how can I fix that?" questions.  Well, I had a big ol' computer malfunction earlier this week, and I mean REALLY complex.  To say that it would have cost me some bucks would be a HUGE understatement.

Well, with the use of my wife's laptop, I was able to completely recover, repair, and renew to perfection the computer I am now using, which is in itself complex (RAID1, lots of extras).  NO WAY without the internet and fine people posting solutions on the net.

Other things in the past month that I've looked up:

1.  3 way dimmer
2.  EGR valve troubleshooting
3.  The country of Vatican City
4.  How to tune a guitar
5.  etc., etc., etc

You get the point.  Where would we be without it?  To me, while I miss lots about the world I grew up in, I cannot imagine going back to a world of archaic information sharing.

The internet is a wondrous place. It's like having the library of congress in your home. I use it every day to converse with people I don't know from all over the country/world.

It can also be a very sick and dangerous place as we all know.

The Internet IMHO  is a Living World Book Encyclopedia

I would not like to be without it

I have gotten a lot of value out of it for that purpose  too. It's also very useful for finding small engine parts. I use Jack's small engine supplies. It's been a much better parts source than anything locally.
