value of 336 100 Yr. Aniv. Model w/Marlin Scope
« on: May 15, 2009, 01:06:22 PM »
just picked it up today; has a 2 1/2 power Marlin Micro Power scope, the medallion on buttstock; overall probably 80-85% (conservative est.) in 30-30. Haven't shot it yet. Anyone seen one sold lately?  Thanks

The Marlin scope has some collectibility, to both Marlin and scope collectors, but the rifle's value would be the same as any other Marlin .30-30 of the same general vintage (1970 +/- 5yrs) in like condition.

They are not "Anniversary Models" or commemorative rifles, per se - since Marlin added the 1870-1970 medallion to every single firearm they made in 1970.
