Maximum pistol length?

Rifle length is 16” minimum, I believe. So is there a maximum pistol length? I may put a muzzle brake on a 15” barrel and was wondering if the barrel will need to be cut down.

There is no Maximum pistol barrel length that I have ever heard about. One word of caution, is make sure you are using a pistol reciever ( if it were me, I'd carry a copy of bill of sale, or the 4473 ), 'cause folks will likely reach the wrong conclusion that it is a "cut-down rifle", which would be illegal.
