Is this a good price?

I went by a local gun store today just to look around. They had a Thompson Contender in the 30 Herrett for $379.00. Is that a good price? It was in about perfect condition. Thanks Dale

In my area frames go for $200-$250 and barrels from $100 and up.  If gun is in nice shape and you get front and rear sights with the barrel, it sounds like a good deal to me.  Offer a little less (say 350) and see if you can take it home.

I would have to agree with Steve
$200.00-$250.00 Frame
and $100.00 to $150.00 depending on caliber ect.
Some custom barrels will go for more.
I would offer $300.00 but probably would not go over $350.00
Unless showroom condition with out usual frame markes.
Can't hurt to try and I am no expert by any means ;)

Big plus for the deal if dies and brass are included.
Personally I would buy at $350 and trade the barrel for a caliber I wanted.
I definately prefer center grip single shot handguns like the Competitor of XP-100 but the wide varity of calibers the TC has available is a very good thing

Oh yea. I forgot to mention. The dies are included. I am not really interested in that caliber but though it might be a decent deal. I figured if I ended up buying it I could put that barrel up for sale and get something of more interest to me. Dale
