Henry Big Boy .44 Magnum
« on: September 17, 2003, 03:27:05 PM »
Has anyone tried Henry's new .44 mag Big Boy?

I'd like to know how it shoots.  Is the action as smooth as the advertising?

They've got things started right:  The twist is 1:38, good for 240gn to 300gn bullets.  And it's better than 8 pounds with an octagonal barrel.  I'm expecting clover leafs at mid range...Maybe?

Thanks...

Ran

Very interesting. I wonder what kind of action it uses? Only the one pic, can't see the "guts" too well.

that is intersting.  I don't care for the brass finish myself, but the rifle looks real good.  Wonder if they make a different finish as an option?
