What do you guys use your 223 for?

I used to use my .223 for a walk around all purpose gun, but that was until I aquired my .357 magnum Handi.

I reamed it to maximum, and it does everything and more what I did when I used the .223 as I can shoot 38's for small game and plinking, and .357 for varmints and predators, and .357 maximum for deer and hogs.

The .223 gets seldom used for paper, but really I just don't miss it!

I use mine "a CZ 527" for Coyotes on the ranch.   

My .22 does alright in close with a perfect shot, but that's not always easily done, so I don't use it anymore.     
The .270 with 100 grain bullets can do a great job on them, but it kicks the socks off me now that I'm older, and so I set it aside too.     
That's when some of the guys posting on here woke me up to the small high powered .22's, and I settled for the .223.

I shot and killed two groundhogs today about 3:00 this afternoon, they were about 90-100 yard shots, I was using Winchester 45 gr. jhp factory white box loads, the little handi-rifle is a great varmit rifle.

Varmints and predators.  However, Some of our NW Indiana Coyotes are quite big and can take a wallup from 223 and run with it if you dont hit em right.
