I want a straight stock springer. Is a straight stock just a regular stock without the pistol grip, or are there other ergonomic differences? If I just file off the pistol grip on one of my springers will it fit properly? I’ve seen a video of someone filing off the pistol grip on a shotgun to make a straight stock, and apparently it turned out ok. Surprising that straight stock air rifles aren’t available given the popularity of the Beeman C1.
