First hog with 45-70
« on: April 17, 2004, 02:17:44 AM »
Shot my first hog with the High Wall 45-70 and Saeco 385 gas check flat nose bullet yesterday evening at 108 yards. I figure it weighs in probably 100 pounds dressed. I've shot a  few hogs with cast bullets in the head or neck before but..... never have I seen one spin 1/3 of the way around after being hit in the neck. Would like to add a photo but, for whatever reason I can't just cut and paste one.

Good job on the hog!

You can't just cut and paste photos.  You need to upload your photo to a web picture hosting site, then use the "Img" function here to include it in your post.  I would happily put your hog pic with mine and then provide the link for you to post (or I'll post in another reply).  I won't get to it until Monday, but email it to me at dtwiebe@yahoo.com and I'll put it up for you scroll down a few posts and you'll see mine with some pictures from a couple weeks ago.
