WOW! Harley Stock Falls Sharply

Harley D stock fell about 70% in the last few months....I thought it would of held up better.

 for the most part, cycles are a luxery.   when things get tight, people stop buying luxery items.  and when they get tighter, the luxery items go down the road.  and when the market is full of used bikes for half price with next to no miles, of course sales are going to decline.  nothing is immune from the current situation.

    Myronman hit it right square on with that response.  Ppl simply aren't seeing the expence of such bikes as a neccessity and they're not seeing the outlook as bright as one would like to commit to another payment each month.

Well, maybe the bubble on Harley has busted!! I do like Harleys but the price for one is just nuts.  It's a damn motorcycle not a brick of gold.

Maybe next fall we'll all be riding new harleys. That would make me happy!!!

By the way, how much is Harley stock now?

the price is right now.   i dont know that deals have ever been better.  last fall i picked up a buell firebolt 12r a couple of years old, barely broken in for 4500.   i almost felt bad taking it.
