38 -55 target

 Got a new rifle today it's a 38-55 target with a extra factory fitted 223 barrel with a older bushnell banner scope on it. got all the papers and sight inserts, all i'm missing is the box. Rifle was very clean and in real good shape and locks up tight. gave 353.88 out the door. Good or bad ???

Did you buy it for the 38-55 or the 223 barrel?

38-55 is what caught my eye and the 223 sealed the deal. I don't think I would have bought it if there had'nt been two barrels. even tho I already have 2 handi rifles in 223, one each in 25-06,17hmr ,243 and a 50 cal huntsman. I love my handi rifles. I have owned several others but in my quest to fullfill other needs in my life I have had to part with them,But I'm not done yet I want another 45-70 and I think this one will get a 3rd barrel in that caliber.

Ya done good ;D  Get that .45-70 coming soon, but be sure to put it on it's own frame and not swap it around.  It'll be happier there.  I believe the .45-70 is one of, if not the most inherently accurate Handi barrels.  If you want to unload the extra .223 barrel, there's always a market here in the classifieds.

Thanks! but I think I will keep it, with the stuff thats going on in the political scene I'm not going to get rid of any firearms
