Looks like a reprint of an article that he did for Gun World some years ago, but I still printed it out. I would add that the Lyman 3118, and other 32-20 bullets over modest charges of Unique will really shoot tight groups in those CZ's too! I haven't heard any reports on the new Ruger Compact in that caliber. I would add that the original magazines didn't feed those blunt bullets well, but CZ fixed that, and the last one I got fed those bullets like grease.

The old 100 grain jacketed soft points remington made for the 32-20 are a perfect plinking and small game bullet for the 7.62x39!  I have a 10 inch contender barrel from JDJones and it is perfect!  I know folks have concerns about the round in a contender, but I load conservatively and it is much more accurat than any of the 30-30 or herrets I've toyed with.  thanks for the loading data, always looking for more!
