Length is 11¾", 2" thick at the most, 4½" high.

Mike, here is the thumbhole I built for my Ultra Varmint. From front to back (including my homemade buttplate) the length is 12 3/4" long. The geometry is different than the H&R thumbhole. The main difference is a higher cheekpiece which fits me better.
