Well, just to prove that it was not a fluke, I was lucky enough to get another nice male this evening. Was a 100 yard shot in a corn field. Hit top of heart , he jumped straight up, spun around and it was over. This guy was part of a howlin pack and came to a female howl that we did. he musta broke from the pack as I waited a long time bfore I poked him to be sure he was alone. When I was sure no more were coming, I let him have it. I love my little Ultra Varmint!!!
I am using Winchester 55 gr FMJs. 11$ CDN /box. They fly great out of my gun. I bought them to break in the barrel. Looks like I am breaking it in 1 coyote at a time.
All three were taken near Guelph, Ontario Canada. It is about 1 hour west of Toronto. Coyote population is doing well the last couple of years.
