My 44 mag Scout

Here is a pic of my 44 mag with scout mount and Simmons 2x20 pistol scope.It is one of the ove bore barrels that slugs at .431'' so I will most likely be shooting cast bullets through it.The barrel is on an SB1 frame.I shot it today and the primers look just fine.I was shooting 300gr Hornady factory loads through it and grouped just under 1.5'' at 100yds.

Looks good!!

 Do you have any close up shots of the base and rings? How about some info on the mount and how you did it? Who made it who installed it and so on.

The mount is a Weaver 92A for a TC contender.The barrel only had 1 hole drilled and tapped so I took it to my local smith and he drilled and tapped 2 more holes for $15.The rings are cheap Simmons rings that I had laying around.I plan on getting a pair of quick release rings for it.I also moved the rear sight back to middle scope mount hole.Havent shot it yet with open sights so cant say anything about it.I am also thinking about a set of XS ghost ring sights for on it.
