loose latch with barrel open ?

Hi guys, Just a quick question about the latch on my rifle. While reading the barrel fitting section I see that the latch is supposed to be tight when the barrel is open. The latch on my rifle is loose when open and closed! It has good spring tension when you push it but has play when open or closed. It locks up tight and shoots OK, so is their something wrong with the latch spring ? Thanks Mark

Check latch engagement per the barrel fitting info, it that's ok, don't worry about it.
