This makes no sense at all.  I have a 308 survivor  I have threaded for a suppressor and I finally got my 7.62x39 barrel back from being threaded. I traded for a H&R in 204 and sold the barrel and kept the frame.

I tried my 7.62x30 barrel on it and no go . I know about the problems with mil. surplus ammo. It worked great on my 308 frame not one single mis-fire.   Ill be reloading brass rounds for a subsonic round anyway so its not going to be  a big problem.    Yes, Thats why Im going to load 225 grain 308 dia bullets in winchester brass with 10 grains of trail boss powder for a nice little sub sonic round. Very close to a 300 whisper and all for the low , low price of 250 dollars.
