remington 700 information ?

greeting,
I have a 7mm mag remington 700 it is an older one, it has a stainless barrel that is copper wraped then blued.  I was told that this was most likely one of the military contract guns .

sorry would really have to dig far back into the safr to get serial number.  can anyone give me any information on this ??

I am unfamiliar with your findings.  Have you called Remington or emailed them?  Just doesn't ring a bell.

Ive got a 1962 rem 700 with stainless barrel . Mine was dipped in iron ore . In order for it to be blued. Remington told me the date, & it was an early mtn rifle. Hope that helps
