are these fair prices?

black/synthetic 45-70 and a .270 new at the gun shot for 275.00.  how does that sound?  walmart here stoppped selling them, and if i order online, my shops 50.00 ffl charge will put me to about 300.00, so its my only choice.  just wanted to see how good or bad those prices are.  thanks, mike.

I bought a new wooden stocked .223 last night for $245.  I think the synthetic was a little higher.  So, it isn't too bad.

I bought my .45-70 Handi "Used, Like New" and nicely scoped for that amount.  The 50.00 FFL charge seems high also.  I don't have to pay anything, because my dealer knows he feeds my guns, but 25 to 30 bucks seems about average.

i thought my shop was high...the 50.00 ffl is for guns in production now, 30.00 for discontinued guns.

Mine charges $20 per 4473, no matter how many guns I buy at the time, I've done three at a time once, usually just one at a time tho.  ;)

Tim, from the pic you once posted you are probably getting a preferred customer discount and everytime you walk in the store a siren and flashing lights engage declaring you customer of the month ;D
