Your best value can often be found used at your local sporting goods/gunshop. For some reason, people don't seem to put a very high value on used leather. I have picked up some really nice holsters at a steal. You just have to ask, and look. Usually, they are stuck away in a box, somewhere out of the way. I try to make it a point to do this whenever I find myself outside my usual haunts, in hope of finding something new. Like an as-new T/C holster for the 10-12" Contender I scored the other day. It can be worn as a shoulder holster, or on the hip, for the princely sum of $5.00. This don't happen too often, but it does happen.
