Just got back from Manitoba
« on: June 03, 2009, 10:32:18 AM »
We had 8 hunters and 7 killed bears. I had chances to kill average bears but passed. A really big one came into a field to eat grass at 160 yds but I missed ! Weather was a factor with blowing wind, cold evengs and some rain. But it was a great hunt on the east side of Riding Mt. Park. 5 were bow kills 2 were gun kills.

Man, I'd really like to go bear hunting, but I don't go up in trees.

Then you need to see Pete Koch at Wild Country Outfitters. He specializes in ground blind hunting. Great set ups and lots of bears.

I am going again this year.  ;D

I remember your post from last time. I definately will check them out if and when I can afford to go. Works a little rough with the economy and all.

I am thinking of going to Manitoba and was wondering what the total cost was. Were you happy with them?
