winter has arrived!!!

we just got 6 inches of that cold white stuff and has turned my thoughts from hunting to fishing thru the ice. a buddy of mine has a cabin near one of the best spots in the southern part of the province and since he's never been ice fishing where goin to spend 3 days up there catching perch and walleye. hey Upnorth, i know some good day trip spots, whadda ya think, care to join me sometime?

I may be in. driving truck and working nights, my schedule is goofy. I'd like to get together and meet you as well. Rene is coming to wpg next week for rifle deer , so I'll let you know how we do.

i sent him a message that i won't be able to go hunting this year. i've out of work for 2 months and i have an interview today. i missed my chance for this falls hunters safety. i thought you could use the pal to buy a licencse. i might know some spots for hog hunting since you did express interest. my dad suggests trying mantago(?) lake in the interlake for some good fishing. it's up near fisher branch but i don't think the lake is developed. there is only a gravel road in.
