Receiver sight replacement for buffalo classic
« on: December 02, 2008, 06:15:52 AM »
Just purchased a buffalo classic.  I would like to replace the receiver sight with a more classic looking (and better) ladder type sight that has a peep aperature.  Doesn't look like a tang sight will fit.
Also would like to replace the trigger guard with something stronger and more classic looking.
Can anyone provide some direction?  Thanks.

Welcome!! Spend some time in the FAQs and Help sticky, and you'll find the sights you're looking for, please see the sticky on metal trigger guards and spacers, GBO sponsor Talley is working on them......slowly. ;)

I just replace a broken Williams peep with a Smith Enterprise barrel sight. It was a bit pricey, but I wanted a good open sight that could also handle some long ranges for CAS Long Range matches.

It mounts right on the barrel in the original screw holes and this sight comes with all the necessary mounting hardware.
Good Luck

Take a look at this.  I'll bet Tim Skinner could make it fit the BC.
