Confused about center fire and rime fire.

Can a rime fire barrel be put on a center fire frame? http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,97911.0.html   10 posts down  Clayne_b's post ( shows a .243 .22dont know what kind, and a 20 ga.). Ive heard both?

The only rimfire barrel that will work on a centerfire frame is the Versa Pack barrel which is no longer made, it has an offset bore. It was commonly only made in 22Lr, but there were some special orders by Cabelas in 17hmr, and also some rare 3-barrel combos.
