This worth anything??
« on: December 16, 2008, 02:09:57 AM »
Have a gun value question. I picked up a Remington 7600 in .257 Roberts. A fellow gun owner told me that this is a collectors item, because of the Roberts caliber. Now my curiosity is up, any truth to this??? Thanks.....

While it "might be" rare it's not a collector's item and especially not if already fired. There is just no "collector market" for such guns. No clue what they are selling for these days but its only value is as a shooter and it is worth no more so for that than any other 760 chambered round would be.

A 760 257 Roberts is a collectors item. A 7600 isn't.

I think if you find a 257 Roberts fan they might pay a bit more for the caliber,  put your rifle next to one in 308 and I would give a few extra bucks extra
