Help finding a Savage 116 in .425 Express

A 425 Express?  Is that the old rebated rim Westley Richards offering?  Unless its a custom job, I don't think I've heard of any of the US manufacturers offering the 425.

Recoilpad :  The correct model # you will be looking for is the 116-se (safari express )  That may take some looking for and some deep pockets when you find it :D   JIM

Well if you find one in 100% the book shows it at $800 down to $475 in 60% but I would think that being a rare caliber the cost may be higher last msrp was $900, but again the caliber may raise the price alot, but dont be surprised if you find one and because of the caliber it hasnt sold and the person who has it wants to get rid of it for that reason, good luck and keep us updated as to your search and the cost. :D    JIM

That ought to be a hoss!  It would be a nice bear and moose rifle, I bet.  Good luck finding it.
