Another barrel fitting question...

The 2nd frame i have has side to side play on all of my actions but seems to like up tight on a .002 feeler gauge... I haven't checked the latch engagement but it doesn't seem like this would fix the problem... So what can I do to fix that???

If the barrel is lose when locked up without the forend on and the latch engagement is good, it needs to be shimmed. Ideally for best accuracy no gap should exist at the barrel to standing breech, if you try a feeler blade at the very top of a well fitted barrel, it should lock tight on aluminum foil which is ~.0005" thick.
