My little J frame just got a big brother today

I'm not going to make you all cry over what I got my 629 for today, but I'm very happy about it.

Dan Deluca aka "warrior1" has passed away.  Dan was a frequent poster here and on several other sites.  He passed away on 12/29/08 from a massive heart attack. RIP Dan.

congrats on the new wheelgun.......must be the week for 629's.  I went to get some bullets to reload for my .357 and .460 and came home with an "inbetweener"......

That is the next one I want from the Performance Center - Model 629 - .44 Magnum Hunter Revolver, 7.5"

There is a vast differance in how mine and yours will run...... oh you got me drooling all over that one.

Until then it will be me and my 629

I'd been lookin' at 'em for quite some time, but had never seen this model. When I first saw it in the case I figured it was used and someone had put different grips on it. Then the dealer told me it was a  new Lou Horton....I walked away from it twice, till they gave me a price that I couldn't refuse......and for just a few dollars more than a standard 629 I bought it. Wife says it's the last one tho........ ::)

congrats again at gettin' a great gun for a good price.....nuttin' better than the feel of new iron in your hands.
