Passenger Side Air Bags
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:58:12 AM »
In my 99 f150 I have option of turning the passenger side air bag off, I have done so because my of my son and the horror stories of what the air bag could do to smaller/shorter people. My question is, should I leave it off or turn it on? Of Course he is using the sealt belt/shoulder harness, oh  he is about 5'5" and 225lbs.
All thoughts and opinions are welcome, have always got some good advice from this forum on other subjects .

At that size I'd recommend having it turned on. He is larger than my wife and I'd never consider turning mine off on her side. Air bags do save lives.
