Has anyone had trouble getting the front sight off of your BC - I got some new sights,  Smith Enterprise 1873 for the back and an windage adjustalbe beech combination for the front, but I cannot budge the dove tail on the front, anytips or help please.
Thanks
John

I had the same problem but I went to a front .404 fiber optic front sight
I can say you will need a vise padded jaws a good brass punch and a good hammer
The sight if I remember goes from left to right looking from the rear of the barrel.

See BC/Target Front Sight Removal in the FAQs, there's an entire thread dedicated to removing the factory 17A front sight, you don't need a vise, a solid concrete floor will do fine!! ;)
