I shoot Bp in my Handi rifle. I have noticed a big difference in fouling dependant upon the powder being used.
A charge of Wano Schwartzpulver powder under a greased wad and a greased 500 gr lead bullets shoots very clean. I have fired 20 rounds without cleaning with no degridation of accuracy and the bore left looking bright and shiny. Than very same load, using Goex instead of Wano required that I clean my bore every shot to maintain accuracy. After one shot my bore would be left looking like a dirt road.

Yes - about 99% of all reloads from 100 - 1000yds.  The degree of fouling using any brand of powder is contigent on the relative humidity and temperature.  Black powder is hygroscopic.
At long range, accuracy will decrease if one doesn't blow tube or patch wipe after every shot.

Bill, I did a test one day- low RH and hot:  20 rounds - starting @600yds with no wiping or blow tubing.  After the 3rd shot on target, the bullets moved off the 600yd paper and started dropping down and hitting the 400yd berm
