I bought my wife a Handi Rifle in 7mm-08 and couldn't get shells to eject so I sent it back to the factory. Then when I got it back I took it to the range to shoot some factory ammo out of it. Shooting off sand bags and a solid rest with factory ammo I couldnt get this thing to shoot consistently. I was allowing about 5 min in between shots so barrel was not getting hot and the groups at 100 yards were like 8 inches. Is this the best I can do or do I just need to work up my own load for this rifle. I have a 243 barrel matched to the reciever and it shoots atleast 1" or under groups at 100 yards.
