Black powder in 375 win?

Hey guys,

I am thinking of shooting my 375 win. encore with some of my leftover triple seven that I still have from last deer season.  Anybody who has any data for this, please let me know.  Hodgdon's websight lists data for the 38-55, but I don't know if this would work for the 375, because of the smaller case. I will probably only be shooting jacketed bullets.  Any help will be appreciated!

just load it up till the bullet will compress the powder  no air pocket  it will be safe

That's the beauty of black powder,  you really don't need load data. All black powder cartridges were intended to be loaded with a case full and compressed. Just measure how deeply you wish to seat your preferred bullet and fill the case about 1/8" higher. Pouring the powder through a long drop tube or vibrating the loaded cases before seating the bullet helps settle the powder so that it shoots more consistently and some say cleaner as well. The powder should be slightly compressed 1/16" or so when the bullet is seated to your preferred depth.
