The PPK variants made in Maine, under license agreement with Walther. It's 1930's design technology with all that implies, relative to hollowpoints, etc. If Smith has made others, I'm not aware of them, but then .380's aren't something I've paid a lot of attention to.

They put out a little plastic mod. a few years back in the sigma line maybe

I own a Sig 380 and That gun packs a punch with the 95gr bullet. I don't think I would want to use it for Home safe guard.  I would want more punch and a bigger hole.
