45/70 405 grain lead load
« on: February 11, 2008, 11:14:00 AM »
I'm looking for a load that I can use to practice with instead of using jacked bullets I got a real good deal on 500 405gr lead bullets. Could I use the same load as the rem 405 jsp? My standard load is 46.5gr of reloader 10x CCI 200 primer.

Thanks
Dewy :)

Here's some data for the 405gr Laser cast w/RL10. I'd say if they're sized .001-.002" over groove diameter, they'll work fine with the warm load, but if they're too small, you'll get a fair amount of leading unless they're gas checked bullets.

Are they the hollow base ones?
