Link to Handi-Rifle Manual ??
« on: February 02, 2008, 10:54:07 AM »
Hi All - Newbe with a question.

Is the link to the owners manual in the FAQ dead or is it me?

I just got a 2004 vintage 45-70 Handi and was interested in a parts list /part number list.

Thank you,
Ed

Not any more, works now!! ;D  The Owner's manuals can be found on H&R's Customer Service page which they recently changed the URL on, that's why it didn't work. :(

Dunno if I'd call a 2004 model "vintage" unless that's a PC word for used or 2nd hand, that would make about half of my 41 H&Rs "vintage"!! ;D  The current manual only shows ejector parts, you have to look at the Pardner to see those with the exception of the claw itself. :'(

Tim,

Thanks for fixing the link. Got the info I wanted.

Yes, I got it used. (slightly)  three shells fired from a box of Rem factory ammo that came with it.

I paid $200 - seemed like a good deal to me. Hope to test fire after the rain stops and the road to the range dries out.

Sounds like a good buy to me, and most likely being and ejector, a better choice than a new one!! And look at it this way, they partially broke it in for ya, at the price of ammo now days, that's gotta count!! :D
