Lookie What I Got!
« on: January 08, 2008, 03:13:22 PM »

I just picked up this used 686+ 6". It is in good shape. I am going to shoot it this weekend
and see how it does. I loaded up a couple hundred rounds of 357 Mag 158gr JHP/H110
loads. I also got a Simmons 4X32mm Pro Hunter Scope with a Weaver Mount And Warne
Maxima rings for it that I plan to put on later. I really missed not having a 357 Mag. It
feels like a pretty sweet piece.  ;D

Nice revolver.  I worked on one of those a few years ago for a friend that didn't understand that stainless steel could indeed rust!  Once done cleaning up the mess, and other than it looking like it was nickel instead of stainless, it was no worst for the wear.  I took it out to test fire it and it was absolutely the most accurate .357 that I have ever shot better even than my Python.  Not much but still better.  If yours shoots anywhere near what that one did you did real good.
